Broken Computer - Explaining My Absence

As of 2/2/09, there was a reason for my Internet disappearance, and I had to do something. Apparently, my computer was on the verge of extinction, due to many viruses copying themselves over as actual Windows system resources. After I connected my Windows 2000 laptop on the Internet using a Network card, the same thing happened 15 minutes later, while I was peacefully downloading new drivers. I really don't know what I have to do in order to keep me virus free, but I am still doing everything in my power to get back online.
Also in this action, I'm afraid I might have to postpone the Forever Valentine Ball until further notice, or until I can become safe online, thanks to a couple of programs. This might cost me my digital life if I don't do something about this quickly, and I probably deserved this infection to happen anyways.
Right now, I would throw my computer away, and get a Vista, but I'm still very eager to stay with XP, and my soon to be reinstalled Windows 2000 laptop, so I don't know what I'm going to be doing for now. Though, I'm planning to grab hold of it for a real long time in the coming war, being virus-protected, though my laptop will still be cut off from the Internet, since it only takes a short time to infect it.
In my last breath, I also wanted to wish my friends a happy and safe Valentines Day, and also wanting my best friends to remember my brave acts, as I worked extremely hard to get where I am. Still, I feel like my life is over, in the 2009 Virus Assault, first time I suspected this in the beginning of February... In my final words, fuck off, Cupid... go shoot on someone else, because I'm done with you, trying to crush my spirits like some overly abused spouse with a heart condition. In other words, my Kirby-life might be over, and yet, I'm feeling guilty, all because I'm using my parents computer while typing this message. I'm still living on though, but I'm scarce from the Internet, thinking of a solution that will hopefully protect me in the long run.
Farewell, for you might see me on MSN, but it will be in a different source, where they ban adult activity.
